MAKING A HIT RECORD

Realize a good idea as it develops and unfolds into a valuable creation.

Jim Peterik, or another Platinum selling songwriter will lead this seminar that provides 3 1/2 hours of learning, thinking out of the box and collaboration, as the audience actually writes your corporate theme song! They then participate in the actual recording process to make the song. This seminar provides a great opportunity for a large audience to participate in the song creation process.

Jim will explain the art of songwriting collaboration and tell the story of writing one of the biggest rock anthems, "Eye of the Tiger."

Next, he'll lead them in the exercise of picking out a melody of a well known song and the participants collaborate as a team in the songwriting process of writing the lyrics. Along the way, our classic rock counselors will drop in to record their parts of the song live in front of the participants. The participants take part as they are recorded in a rousing chorus part and shaking percussion in unison. The session culminates as they hear the final mix of the song they wrote.

BE THE BAND, LEARN, LISTEN

Participants organize for an innovative exercise in tactical planning and goal setting.

Camp Jam will take up to 120 people selected by the client to be placed in the "Be a Rockstar in a Day" program. They will be placed in 10 bands and taught a songs to perform by our Rockstar Counselors. This 3 1/2 hour program will focus on our motto of being in a band is the ultimate in building potential and confidence. The session begins with each team member deciding which instrument they will use and what role they will play in the band. The Counselor will take the lead role in helping with instrument choice and providing instructions on how to play each instrument. This is also the opportunity for the teams to select a name for their band and choose a song to perform.

REHEARSE

Once the teams have selected their instruments, band names and song, the Counselor leads the team in the rehearsal process. Each member is given one-on-one instruction on how to play the song that the team will perform. The team collaborates and works together in order to accomplish a solid and flawless performance.

PERFORM

Band members unite to engage in an experience that yields confidence and communication skills.

Now the big moment, the team bands have learned their songs, and they take the big stage to perform with their Rockstar counselors. The newly trained rockers will perform their song in a battle of the bands and will be judged by their peers cheering in the audience. Everyone leaves a Rockstar having participated in the coolest collaborative experience ever!

CLASSIC ROCK COUNSELORS

Plus our staff counselors of professional musicians learn success strategies with world class musicians who have a proven track record.

At the end of the battle of the bans and once the winner is crowned, the Camp Jam Allstars take the stage to play a few of their hits and other classic rock tunes in a performance you'll never forget.

What do the legendary business teams behind Microsoft, Disney and Starbucks have in common with the Rolling Stones and U2? Each team consists of extraordinary individuals made even more extraordinary by the team they assembled, and even more so, because of how well they work together.

Like a business, a successful rock band is made up of visionaries and is only as good as the sum of its members. It is successful because of how well the team works together, with each member understanding the part they play within the group, contributing creatively and playing to his or her strengths.

As in business, it's the people behind the ideas, working together, hitting on all cylinders, that make hits!

And that's why I got together with some of my friends who wrote, played and helped shape the music you grew up listening to, and together we've created a program where you and your business team can learn how to band together and rock.
